HRV-Biofeedback

HRV-Biofeedback

The parasympathetic connection between heart and brain is one of the most important communication pathways in the human body and is of great importance for health and well-being. A healthy parasympathetic communication path is like a busy information highway with a lot of exchange of information between the brain and the organs. Unhealthy life style or diseases can damage the highway with the result that the exchange of information is heavily reduced. Any reduction of the parasympathetic information flow increases the risk of illness, impedes healing processes and reduces personal performance. It is therefore useful to train the parasympathetic heart-brain connection systematically. BioSign’s HRV biofeedback is a simple and effective way to train the parasympathetic nervous system sustainably.

BioSign HRV Biofeedback is used by top athletes, top managers and patients with almost all medical indications from pediatric to oncology. Our wide user spectrum illustrates how important a good vegetative regulation is. The HRV biofeedback can be performed with both ECG and pulse wave (ear clip). A wireless HRV biofeedback using Bluetooth sensors is also possible (available as an accessory). The HRV-Scanner offers three different types of HRV biofeedback. Each comes with a configurable breathing guide, the possibility to integrate your own music tracks and spoken instructions in many different languages.

  • 3D scenes (different motifs, landscapes and objects)
  • Spoken instructions that help the subject quickly to achieve a good rhythm (different speakers, also for children)
  • Spoken instructions in many different languages
  • Pleasant background music (own music pieces can also be used here)
  • Audio biofeedback (the currently achieved HRV modulates acoustic moods, for example, from the thunder to the gentle noise of a stream)
  • Individually adjustable breathing guide

  • Real-time spectral analysis
  • Real-time progression of various HRV parameters such as heart rate, rhythmization, SD1 and SD2
  • Real-time Poincare diagram
  • Spoken instructions that help the subject quickly to achieve a good rhythm (different speakers, also for children)
  • Spoken instructions in many different languages
  • Pleasant background music (own music pieces can also be used here)
  • Individually adjustable breathing guide

  • Real-time progression of heart rate
  • Well-visible coherence of breathing and heart rate
  • Spoken instructions that help the subject quickly to achieve a good rhythm (different speakers, also for children)
  • Spoken instructions in many different languages
  • Pleasant background music (own music pieces can also be used here)
  • Individually adjustable breathing guide
